Thoughts

My husband has panic attacks. He hates being in a room full of people. We are so opposite, I feel right at home in a crowd.

He thinks I was wrong to put stuff in my blog about my sister for the "whole world" to see. I think that if I don't blog I will surely lose my mind.

What can you do to change a situation if you have apologized and the person refuses to talk to you?

Nothing I suppose.

you are human and this blogging is a type of outlet and you apologized since she expressed hurt but then it's move on time. You don't need to substantiate your actions to her and the fact that she can't get over it might be because it rings some truth...anyways, stand by it and stick up for yourself and move forward. You can't control her wallowing but you can control your moving forward!

Blogging is our therapy Kristi. We need someplace where we feel safe enough to convey and confront all those thoughts and feelings bashing around inside of us. Don't beat yourself up over your comments about your sister. You have apologized, and she has failed to understand that you are sorry you hurt her and also that these writings were in the past. Non-bloggers will never understand the nature of blogging. Give her some space to think about things and I'm betting in time she'll come 'round again. We cannot undo the past, we can only learn from it and live in the moment. Private blogs are a good idea, if you want more readership than that affords, use a pen name and disguise personal details and write away! So far, I remain undiscovered and those true blog friends who know me have not outted me! :-)

P.S. If I was to beat myself up for all the stupid things I've done in life, and hurting people without meaning to, I'd be black and blue all over. Let it go! :-)
